Paws Up!
Sweet Maple Cafestaff welcomed my husband and I with our dog. Brought water for him, pet him and offered to bring us menus (since dogs are not allowed inside). order inside and they bring the food out to you, Not sure how that would work with one person and a dog., but.. they have on online ordering system.., . This is a great place to eat. Food was fresh and delicious. The bread had to be made in house. I got an iced maple latte to go that was delicious and just perfect for a warm fall day. Would definitely eat there again.
Lobster cruise
First Chance Whale WatchWe didn’t end up taking a boat ride but would have loved too, just timing didn’t work into our plans well. However I talked to the girl selling ticket and confirmed dogs are allowed on the Lobster tour but the Whale Watch and they don’t charge extra for the dog (some places in Portland do charge more to bring a dog). I think it’s great that they do allow dogs on one on their tours.
Beautiful Patio
T-BONES Great American EateryGreat place to dine with your fur baby. We’ve brought Oscar there a few times. They always bring a bowl of water and a dog menu.. but we prefer to order the baked chicken fingers from the kids menu for our pup.
The patio is a popular place to dine and fills up quickly, they don’t accept reservations.
Could be Better
Sebago Brewing Co.My husband and I were happy they allowed dogs. We asked the waitress if she could bring water for our dog. she was happy to do so but finding the dog bowl was a challenge (maybe only have one bowl.) We loved the menu options but our food was not so good. I had a salad and vegetables were fresh but the chicken was very tough, I couldn’t eat it, My husband had to send his burger back to be cooked longer.
Friendly
The Clam ShackBrought a big bucket of ice water to our dog though it’s not a table service restaurant. Staff were young high school college age but very friendly. My husband loved the lobster roll and the blueberry handheld pie.
Pups welcome
