It is getting hard to find a motel that doesn't charge a hefty fee for dogs. We have 2 and they always travel with us. They are groomed and well mannered and we always bring their sheets to place over the bedspread. This is an older refurbished Motel 6. It appears that outside is taken care of. Not lots of poop lying around the grounds. Poop Bags stands readily available with bags and trash container. The inside of the room is very plain. I used my own sanitizer on the door knobs, controls, etc. The clientele seems to be a mixture of regular travelers and maybe long term guests. Somewhat sketchy but there is a security guard at night and the parking lot is well lit. Being a woman, the presence was greatly appreciated. Plano is a bit of a drive for us but would stay again.

Open field across the street to walk your pets. Seemed fairly safe even at night. Even tho Love Field is right there, it seemed pretty noise free.

The hotel is in poor shape. Rust in the bottom of the tub, cracked paint, no coffee pot. Bathroom not cleaned properly. I felt like I needed to take a shower as soon as I left! Not enough grass area for you pet to relieve itself. Had most of the flower beds filled with big river rocks. You could see that the few areas that were grass turned out to be some kind of plastic grass look alike material. All these areas were covered in old poo. I get that not everybody cleans up after their pet (no supply of pet poo bags)but if the clients don't do it I would think staff would do it instead of talking on their cell phones. If you are going to advertise as "pet friendly" then take the time to clean up the areas for you clients. I would never stay here again. It is located very close to Market and if the Texas State Fair combined with Texas OU weekend, I would not have bothered to stay. I found that most of the area hotels kick up the prices to almost double because of these two events.

Nice newer hotel. Dogs welcome. There is a large field behind the hotel but being a woman, I didn't feel like going to it at night. It was pretty filthy. There are quite a few condos around so I suspect that is were its coming from. We always clean up after our dogs but not everyone does. Someone should clean it up but I understand it doesn't belong to the hotel. On the front side there are some grassy areas that will do. This is on the border of Richardson and Plano. Convenient for us. Also has several restaurants.
