Great Location, But Not Worth It

It started with reservation issues and didn't get any better. The motel is old, and although it claims to have been renovated, I couldn't see the evidence of that. A room was booked for 4 people but it was only a double bed and a pull out couch. We didn't have enough towels, sheets, pillows, silverware, or toilet paper in the room. The refrigerator was old and the handle was broken. The couch was filthy and stained. There were sheets for the pull out, but they were the wrong size and we didn't have pillows. We didn't have a phone to call the desk and when I walked down to the office, it was locked. None of the windows had curtains and most of the blinds were broken. Although the proximity to the beach was great and it was dog friendly, this place was not worth the price and I would not return.
