Nice Field
Mountain View ParkThis is a large open field. Partially fenced so definitely need to have voice control of your dog. I liked they had small bleachers along edges of field for sitting. They provide poop bags at entrances. My dog enjoyed sniffing around.
Rainy Day Fun
Pups & Cups CafeVisiting from out of town and needed lunch. Small thunderstorm outside. I ate the pesto cheese panini with a arnold pup-ner drink. Drink great and food good. Dogs welcome in all area indoors and the back indoor portion you can let your dog off leash to socialize with other dogs or play with a ball, tug, or bone. Obviously your dog needs to be dog friendly and not resource guard toys or food to use off leash area. Facility also provides cleaning supplies in case your dog has an accident. Only thing that would be better is if they had more substantial food ( burger or hotdogs)but I know health department limits what dog friendly cafes can make.
Easy find near university
Zoe Coffeehouse & PubNice place with good menu to have a outdoor patio meal. They gave my dog a bowl of water and milk-bones. A downfall is patio next to busy road and gas station so road noise and people walking by. No shade or cover from elements so I’d only go on a nice day at sunrise or sunset.
Great dog-friendly hotel
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Pullman an IHG HotelRoom was great size and quality, not cramped or run down like some pet friendly rooms at other hotels. I got a discount on pet fee because of why I was in Pullman. Five minutes from WSU which was cool and would benefit parents of students there. I liked the free breakfast hotel provides. Only criticisms are official pet area is large rough rocks, but no one yelled at me when I walked my dog elsewhere although I was considerate and avoided the green lawns. Also no on-site restaurant but hotel is near plenty of food establishments and they do provide menus to order in from two local restaurants.
