We’re a family of 3 owned and operated by Marley the super chihuahua- who goes on our adventures with us.

Marley says she thinks it’s really funny that it costs her hoomans money to get in but she just has on a dress and gets in for free! It’s actually a great place for humans as well. Lots of local history, an Anne of Green Gables Day 🩷🩷 and many buildings that have been carefully preserved over the ages. Pups are not welcome in buildings- and as a Londoner with an interest in local history this was annoying for me. It also wasn’t popular when little Miss trotted up to the cornhole game and dropped the beanbag straight in. Being introduced as Lady Marley of Chihuahua to Queen Victoria on Victoria Day Weekend, and getting her photo taken with the Queen: priceless.

Nothing better in the summer than a patio, a flight of beers and a chihuahua standing in guard over a glass! Highly recommend for a day in Port, a “one tank trip,” or to pick up a mix of 6 beers to bring home. Large water bowls available for pups to have their pint while the humans have theirs.

We’ve been to the Growling Gator several times. Pups are welcome on their huge patio, and brought water to drink. Marley always is right on our hostess’s heels and has cut through the restaurant accidentally. Friendly vibe, great food, beautiful views of “The Bend” on Lake Huron.

Our Marley had been with our family for exactly one week when on Christmas morning our apartment flooded. We started packing up as much as we could, and we loaded up little Marley and headed to what was our home for the next 6 weeks. Here in a pet friendly environment, she learned to play, to tell us she had to go outside, and how to charm everyone from the manager down with her cuteness. When we checked out after our stay and dealing with insurance etc., we’d become loyal guests to the chain of hotels.

Bentley’s has a great patio and our puppy was warmly welcomed with her own bowl of water- that was refilled when she knocked it over. Depending on the time of day, the patio can fill up quickly, but the staff look to the needs of all guests- 2 legged & 4 legged.
