We enjoyed our three-night stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Salt Lake City Airport. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and featured updated furniture, along with a refrigerator/freezer, stovetop and dishwasher. Our expectations for our canine guests, sadly, were not met, however. Sonesta advertises its dog-friendly PAWS program (Pets Are Welcome at Sonata) promising a welcome letter, dog treats, food and water bowls and a waterproof mat. We did not get a letter or treats and when we asked for bowls for our two Dachshunds, we got one food bowl and one water bowl. Outside, there was a grassy area for Baylah and Eli to relieve themselves, but no poop bags in the two rolls at the pet station. They were not replenished during our stay. If they hadn't offered those amenities, we would have brought our own treats and poop bags. We didn't, since we relied on their representations.
