Very dog friendly

Hunting staff may have treats for pups in the bow section. They did when I went there. I did a ton of walking around and my dog received lots of attention from staff and patrons. I love the selection here and being able to bring my dog for a shopping outing in the summer heat is awesome. Recommend.

Loved it!

Took my dog while trying out the market. There were several dog supply vendors, with one that had all natural or homemade treats and gave out samples. I enjoyed checking out all the booths and samples and my dog enjoyed the smells and socialization with the crowds. If you have a nervous pup that doesn’t like crowds or busy aisles, then this might not be a good place them.

Great atmosphere; recommend

Stayed specifically at the hotel for purpose of being able to eat at bar with my dog. We sat at long table between bar and hotel lobby as described in other reviews. I really appreciated the ability to eat inside with dog given it was December 2023 and a cold evening.

Server was fine, but as in previous review, had no knowledge of menu or recommendations. She had to ask others on our questions about substitution ability, which was not possible. She was soft spoken and hard to hear. Overall staff and service were good and no complaints. Accepting of my dog being there.

I gave 4 bones because the pizza was just okay and not really worth the price. When I come back next time I am in the area, I will order a steak instead.

Worth the Price

I stayed in December 2023 with my dog based on reading prior reviews and researching options in the area. I also selected this hotel for the ability to eat at bar with dog (technically at a high top long table between the bar and lobby). I enjoyed eating inside with my dog and not leaving the hotel once checked in after a long day of travel. It was an expensive stay with the room rate and pet fees for one night, but it was a very nice room with comfortable bed. I slept through any train noise.

It has modern decor and good size King deluxe room. The staff found us a corner room on top floor which was a great accommodation. I knew to expect a nice hotel and higher prices based on research, so I was not sticker shocked. Based on the limited competition, it appeared to be the best hotel that accepted large breeds. I would stay here again and recommend to others. I concur with all of the comments made in Audra’s review from September 2023 to manage your expectations given this is a small town and local staff, and you will enjoy your stay.

Great Staff, Awesome Food

Read the reviews and just had to give it a try while traveling with my dog. Entire staff including manager welcomed my dog. The service was amazing and it was crowded when I arrived due to an event next door. They found a place for us to sit quickly as a group left. The food was amazing. I recommend the Honey Butter Chicken and the Chocolate Pecan Cobbler with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. The Chili Con Queso was also delicious.
