I was born and raised in Newfoundland and my husband and I have a Newfoundland puppy that we would love to bring to Newfoundland.

Wish there were more garbage containers around but loved the area. Good place to be with the dog so he could go into the water or just chill next to us at the fire pit.

What a beautiful place for whether you do or don’t have dogs (or kids). The place was lovely and clean and was full of such history. Also, loved that it was run by Veterans.

Our room was a little dated (was the garden side) but the rest of the place looked updated and the staff were very friendly and professional. Our waitress in the upstairs restaurant was new but made sure she knew what to do to help us at a perfect table so our service dog wasn’t in the way of anyone and able to do his job quietly. Area around the community was beautiful and scenic and everywhere we stopped, people were super.

We needed a place for a Newfoundland dog Event in Granville, NY and this was pretty close (being just on the Vermont border). Free kayak rentals. Plus there is a taproom with a lovely fireplace and sometimes live music.

Very nice dog friendly place. We always bring our gray Newfoundland pup; Bjorn there and he’s always met with friendly people.

First time coming to this camp and it’s so wonderful to have a camp that you can bring your dog that is specially for them. Different sessions including Dock Diving, Attention/Recall, TV & Movie skills, Rally and more plus you get to sign up to Try it and experience another session you and your dog might enjoy. There were so many breeds of dogs and all ages as well as some young (kid) trainers who got to try a little youth instructor competition afterwards. I loved that there was a Raffle and money went towards the Easter Seals Kids.
Bjorn, my “little” 8 month old gray Newfoundland pup had such an awesome time. We’ll definitely be coming again next year. Thank you to all the Instructors, volunteers, and The Leather works catering for putting on such an amazing event.

Very nice size. Not very busy during the weekday (which is what we like). Cool that there’s obstacles, even though Bjorn didn’t care much for them. Good place for our pup to meet fur-friends.

Our first time bringing Bjorn (our gray Newfie pup) and he loved it. Plan on going back for more visits.

Love bringing our Newfie pup, Bjorn here. It’s a good place for practicing his loose leash training and meeting new friends.

Lots of cool stuff to check out, dog-friendly staff and they also sell chicken stuff. 🤗

Super friendly and professional staff. Was surprised that we were put on the 2nd floor (our pup didn’t like taking the stairs down to go outside but loved the elevator). Didn’t receive any treats or bags, but not a big deal (we have our own). The room was super awesome! Lots of room and cool floors for our Newf to just lay down and rest.
