The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to find food and water bowls, plus a dog bed with a blanket, plus a bag of goodies from a local company to try! The dogs loved them! Top tip: there's a door to the street right next to the lift which is best to use when heading out for the morning walk, rather than risking walking through the entire lobby! The parking lot in the car park next door was €18 for a day... the only slight downside.

To be honest, I arrived at about midnight so the small car park was full. Eventually 2 cars left from the street parking about 30 mins after I arrived so didn't have to park right down the road. I have to say the check-in guy does not seem to enjoy his job. He was pretty curt whilst trying to be efficient, but sadly not effective. Not the best welcome after a full day's drive from Paris. I expected to pay the pet fee and city tax on arrival but when I thought he had done it already, he grumpily informed me it was for the guarantee that all Spanish hotels have to take by law in case of damage, as I was stupid for not knowing that. No, I just don't stay in many Spanish hotels. Anyhoo, maybe one shouldn't judge a hotel just by the receptionist. The room was quiet, clean and I would probably use again as it was well priced and well positioned to the north of Barcelona not far from the AP7.
