Great Dog Friendly Patio!

Muck & Fuss Craft Beer and Burger Bar

We stopped by Muck & Fuss in downtown New Braunfels with our Chihuahua mix, Zorrita, and were welcomed by the staff who offered her water and stopped by our table to pet her. We enjoyed fiery cheese fritters as an appetizer, great local craft beers, a super burger and tasty crab cakes on a warm December afternoon. We recommend the food and the service highly.

Great Place Any Time Of Day

Chez Mamou

We’ve been twice recently to Chez Mamou. Both times we happened to enjoy the same server, a very well-informed and personable young woman who is also a teacher. The food is among the best in Santa Fe, the staff is charming, the ferny side patio is quiet and pretty, while the front porch is bustling. Well behaved dogs lounge by several tables every time I drive by, and the tables are full, breakfast, lunch and dinner. try the rack of lamb, crab cakes and raspberry custard tart!

Great Flowery Patio Dining

Gabriel's

Gabriel’s food is consistently good. the chicken fajitas were moist and well-seasoned and arrived on a sizzling skillet with veggies and sides of pinto beans, guacamole and salsa. The fish tacos were equally succulent. The service is efficient but cold. Now you require a reservation at lunch and still wait in line. a prominent sign says only service dogs are allowed on the patio, due to “Covid restrictions.” Right under the sign sat 2 very large white dogs.
Our Chihuahua caused no comment from the staff. Gabriel’s has been dog friendly for many years, so the staff knows guests are unaware of new restrictions, which will soon pass, we hope.

Great Lakefront Location/Shabby Hotel

Inn at Grand Glaize

Inn at Grand Glaize has a lovely view of Lake of the Ozarks. The lobby is lovely. The rooms and balconies are shabby, dirty and poorly furnished. The pub was closed. The lobby restaurant was open. We were alone there. The food and service were great! Big surprise. Our Chihuahua was treated cordially. There were no extras.

Best breakfast In Eureka Springs!

The Filling Station Restaurant

We took our Chihuahua to The Filling Station for breakfast yesterday. We sat on the shaded patio. Our pup was served water immediately and we enjoyed perfectly cooked omelets, pancakes, hash browns and grits with bottomless cups of coffee. We talked with the locals, who say unanimously that it’s their favorite place for casual, quality comfort food. They serve hearty lunches too.

DQ Isn’t Pet Friendly

Dairy Queen

Forget DQ as a dog friendly venue. There is 1 tiny outdoor table and 3 big signs that say “Absolutely no dog walking!”
You have to carry your pet to outdoor table. I can. Many pets are too big to carry.
And $15 for a cheeseburger, no fries,
