Low Key Spot!
Oil Piers BeachThis was a great out of the way beach with only a handful of people and dogs on a Wednesday afternoon in summer. About five miles outside of Ventura in Cliffside. You and your pup do have to climb down some rocks to get to the sand so be prepared. No lifeguards or rest rooms. Rusty loved his first trip to play in the waves.

Harbor Views
Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor ResortThis was our first time staying in a hotel! Rusty was very welcome and even given treats. Stayed here on July 3 and the hotel was fairly empty which was great. Lots of grass and some walking paths for Rusty. Walking paths right outside to the Ventura Harbor and nearby beaches. Fridge and microwave in room. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. Flat rate $75 pet fee (for multiple days). The rooms could use some TLC but overall clean and functional.
