I have been a regular of El Mero both at their food truck and their restaurant for years, located near Shelby Farms Dog Park and close to the Greenline, it is the perfect spot to stop after a day with my pup. The patio is great for dog lovers, offering numerous tables, the staff is always friendly and greeting.

Each visit is made special with a personal greeting from the owners, who bring a welcoming vibe to every meal. You can really feel their passion for what they do. The food, especially the tacos, is consistently delicious; the fried chicken and steak and potatos are my personal favorites, the ingredients are always fresh with unique flavors.

What sets El Mero apart for me, aside from its friendly atmosphere, is its selection of top-notch tequilas, ideal for sipping on the patio. Whether I'm stopping by after a walk or just in the mood for great food and a good drink, El Mero is like a second home where both I and my dog always feel welcomed.
