Awesome people and location, with caveats
New Orleans Guest HouseWe loved staying here. The people were delightful, especially Miss Teisha. The building is older and quirky but we enjoyed it and loved being so close to everything. For us, it was great, but it is worth noting that some rooms might not be ideal for a pet that is easily disturbed. We were in Room 1, which is right at the front door across from the desk. Our Buddy (dog) struggled to stay quiet with the comings and goings, and I worried about disturbing other guests.
Might want to call ahead
Laguna's Mexican Grill and CantinaThere weren't many options for being able to enjoy a meal with our pup. Laguna's sounded ideal. When we arrived, however, the staff responded with obvious hesitation. You might want to call ahead rather than depend on this option.
