Had a border collie and now I have a Catahoula

A little hard to find but if you look for the library you’ll see park next door. Once you park you got to walk a short distance and you’ll see the two dog parks on the left. I loved mature tree and big pipe tunnels. Not huge but plenty large if dog wanted to run. Was a tiny put out the poop bags and garbage cans were outside the dog park

While this medium dog area is tucked behind football fields it is quiet midday. They have the tree species also labeled with who donated. One dog walk in big dog area

Im from out of state so it was cool to see the info signs along the two trails telling you about flora and fauna. We saw a deer, a lizard, and lots of insects. We also walked around edge of lake near swimming beach. Dog even found deer leavings to try and eat.

Between a home and an upholstery store it’s small and grass. I like the small climb structure and a spinning tug post. Quiet at 6pm on a Sunday.

Visiting from out of state. Went late morning on a Saturday. Not too many dogs and most were well mannered. My dog enjoyed sniffing and peeing on everything. Definitely not a park for anyone who can’t navigate uneven terrain but I loved the bird song and feel of being a nature friendly dog space.

No other dogs as I write this. Mature trees and some agility equipment. Dog loved sniffing

Loved this dog friendly on leash area. My dog wasn’t a fan of the falls noise but creek and woods he loved.

Very spacious all size dog area. The regular attendees of the park were friendly both dog and human. Like there’s multiple entrances and all double gated.

I loved the tug boats pulling cargo on River. The soft sand beach covered in driftwood of all sizes. Nice dirt path along the river lined with trees and shrubbery. Not fenced so definitely need a decent recall on your dog or keep on leash.

I enjoyed but had to take a couple breaks because I’m out of shape and uphill kills my legs. I’m told trail is just over a mile.

Small lake more of a large pond but my dog enjoyed it. Everyone had dogs under control and the non dog people weren’t freaking out if a dog wandered near them. My dog almost got himself beat up by a Canada goose guarding his goslings. There was an on leash but dog friendly farmer’s market being held that day as well.
