We didn’t read the reviews for this place, and we didn’t book through the app. We decided to just show up and were told that to get better pricing or even to take advantage of a AAA discount, we had to book online. That should have been a red flag, but we had just stayed at a La Quinta in Springfield, MO, the night before, and it was great. Room was mediocre, and later I discovered a dirty (like muddy hands dirty) towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. No hot water at all for a morning shower at 7am, and the breakfast was cold cereal and waffles. Charged a $100 per deposit (on top of fees paid) for two chihuahuas that were crated. This place deserves negative bones as a rating

Great staff, super accommodating. Designated pet area with poop bags (!), an anomaly for even the most pet-friendly hotels.

I booked online and when we arrived, the hotel was about 1.5 miles from the interstate. Lots of shuttered businesses. They put us in a second story room - no carts or elevator that I saw. Area was run down and sketchy looking. At night, the parking lot was so well lit, it was practically like daylight, which was good because there was no night attendant keeping an eye out. Room seemed clean, but the mattress was hard.
