You will instantly be drawn in by the heavenly scent of baked goods from Darby Ranch’s “The Red Apple Bakery.” They had festive seasonal decorations that created a perfect backdrop for taking pictures of our dog. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they even offered our dog a complimentary apple donut (sans sugar), which was a thoughtful touch. Definitely worth stopping if you’re traveling with your pup down Highway 4!

La Tapatia Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for tasty, authentic food with excellent service. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly and provides a nice, relaxed atmosphere. We especially appreciated how the waitress brought our dog a water bowl without us even asking—such a thoughtful touch! The overall experience was fantastic. Definitely a must-visit for both dog owners and Mexican food lovers!

I've driven past this location many times while traveling between the Bay Area and the Central Valley, always curious to try it out. I'm so glad I finally did! They serve the most delicious BBQ and deli sandwiches. I was also pleased to find a large patio area where you can enjoy your meal with your dog. They even provided a side dish cup, which is perfect for dog water bowl if you need one. Highly recommended!
