Wish I Could Tell You...
Red Dog DinerIn town on business and this place looked good. So we were seated by hostess who promptly went back to her phone. We were told a waiter would be right out. So we scanned the menu, selected a bottle of wine and waited...and waited...and waited. After ten minutes with zero (null) service my wife turned and looked at the hostess. Thirty seconds later she looked up from her phone. We asked for service and she darted inside. Waiters came out but never looked at us. We never saw the hostess again. So we left and went next door to Rum House where we spent $125 (tip $25) on excellent service and fantastic food and wine. Thanks Rum House. You saved our evening! I’d give zero bones to Red Dog but it’s not allowed.
Per Yelp No Dogs.
Flounders Chowder HouseSuggest calling first. We tried to call but got no answer. But review on Yelp stayed no dogs. Gave five bones in case Yelp is wrong.
Great Food But...
Cafe NolaThe food was very good and plentiful. Small menu with typical fried stuff and Po Boys. Cajun theme. Seating area is tight so a little snug for our 55lb dog. Order inside only so if you’re by yourself with your dog it’s tough sledding. Food is brought out to you and that’s the extent of wait service. Your dog is an afterthought. Actually they didn’t even notice our dog. I would call this one dogs allowed but not dog friendly. Great view of the Sound though.
Good Service And Great Food!
Crabs - We Got 'EmAte here on 4/29/19. We were escorted with our dog through the restaurant to a beautiful beach view seat complete with sand! Service was very accommodating. They brought a bucket of water for our dog. Food was really good. Pricy but that’s seafood. Highly recommend this place.
