I'm a middle-aged married woman from New Jersey who has been living in Arizona for the past 5 years with my husband and our 9-year-old rescued dog. Our dog has traveled across the country with us several times since we adopted her in 2018. She was diagnosed with bone cancer this year and had a rear leg amputated two months ago. She's doing extremely well.

We had a great experience renting a pedal boat on June 4th. Christian was extremely friendly and helpful. We weren't sure if our dog would settle down on the boat and weren't sure of her balance as she had a rear leg amputated only two months ago due to bone cancer. We needn't have worried. Our typically anxious girl was very calm. Christian and his dog were very welcoming and had a chill vibe. I was amazed at how well Sunny did on the ride. I would definitely do this again and next time I would be less anxious knowing how well she did the first time. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much Christian also helped me. I have multiple sclerosis. Walking on the floating dock and getting on and off the boat was a bit of a challenge but I knew Christian was there to help if I needed it. He carried my backpack so that I didn't have to balance with it on.
