The food here was tasty! And our location on the patio was nice. We got to see the water as well as a lot of people walking by and saying hi to our doggo. They brought out a cold bowl of water for our dog right when we sat down. Also they let us order a burger patty for him to eat.

From a human perspective the food was delicious and fresh! I think the prices were fair for what we ate and the service was decent. We will definitely go back if we visit Salem again!

Sweet Maple Cafe was delicious! They have quite a bit of outdoor seating on the patio around the restaurant so you can bring your doggo with you. Immediately one of the staff will bring over a bowl of water and when you get your meal they bring out a homemade dog bone for the pups as well 💗. The way the restaurant is set up you have to go order at the front desk inside then get a number and the rest of your meal will be serviced to you. Took a while just order because it is a popular place but definitely worth the wait! The food was delicious and they had so many gluten free options!

We loved this restaurant! It’s on the other side of the wharf away from the busy town so not as much traffic and easier to find parking. Large outdoor back deck with tons of tables. Also has a board walk that goes into the water with lots of stools to sit at.

Staff were so dog friendly, they loved seeing Smokey with us. They brought him a bowl of ice water right away and put in his food order as soon as we sat down so he could eat.

Freshest and best prepared seafood we got in bar harbor at the best price. I’d recommend eating here over the crowded restaurants on the Main Street, seafood was better cooked and it’s a less stressful atmosphere.

Great experience! This restaurant is owned by the local fishermen who pull their boats right up to the dock to drop off seafood! It’s all outside so dogs are allowed everywhere. You go up out buildings depending on what you want to order and place your order. Right in front of you they grab the fresh seafood and drop it into these giant boilers to cook. Dog bowls are located all over for you to grab and fill up for your doggo.

Live music, right on the water, good drinks and just an overall great time! It is self serve with a very relaxed atmosphere!
