Great hotel with nearby pet walking areas, but no poop bags offered.

What a welcoming place! It shone inside & out. Great room, comfy bed. Unlike about 85% of hotels out there, this room had soft lighting. It didn't blind you. Very nice indoor pool. Good breakfast. Thick towels. A nicely landscaped dog area. Soundproofing between rooms and floors! Convenient off/on to I-26. This last night of a 2 week trip was the best.

This hotel is adamant about not leaving your pup in your room, BUT every shop has a "No pets, including therapy dogs allowed" sign. We did see a few unleashed dogs on the beach having a grand time. Also signs all around Hillcrest property stating no dogs allowed on this or that piece of grass.

Great location.

Stripped down minimum. Cold and dated. Pool/hot tub did not open til 4 and were jam packed with teens. There are now a few strips of grass near the hotel, but no poop bags or trash receptacle offered. The eggs and meat section of breakfast were awful. I stuck with granola. Close to shops and restaurants.
