Best summer spot in Montreal!

The crew are incredibly friendly, the beers are delicious, and when the pizza oven is running … YUM! This beautiful spot is on the historic Lachine Canal with ample free parking and right off the most beautiful bike and walking path in Montreal.

Water bowls for dogs are available upon request.

Open seasonally from May to September, inclusively.

Great hotel and service

Had a great stay so close to shops and restaurants that were also dog friendly. Hallway and rooftop noises on the 4th floor were at times excessive which caused my dog to bark.

Not great

Having my 10 lb bichon lie on dirty gravel under a worn picnic table was not my idea of a good time, as I tried to steer her away from the rotting food debris of pretzels and french fries. Had a better experience at IdleTyme in Stowe.

First swim of the season

Park at Thompson Park. Walk over the footbridge in the direction of Stowe Village, and then turn on a small path on your left. Follow the river until you get to a rocky beach and enjoy a nice swim. If you want a proper forest walk, go to Weisner Woods nearby. You can finish your day with an ice cream, and a pupcup at Lake Mountain Chocolates.

Great patio for dogs and owners

Combo of grass and gravel, with great service and good food. Easy enough to find shade. Swimming spots for dog nearby, up the rec path.
