Newer hotel opened about 4 months ago. Great location. Clean dog area. Cindy and her staff were awesome. They really loved seeing our dog each morning awhile leaving to explore the Portland area for a day trips. Will definitely stay again. Four paws approved by our Golden Retriever, Duck.

Sierra Motel is super cute motel. Really dog friendly and two blocks away from a great park with a walking trail. Close to good local restaurants. Will definitely be returning when visiting TC again.

5/17/2020- we decided today we were going to try out this trail starting point Peru , NE. Once getting there noticed both north and south bound trails were still washed out caused to the flooding last summer. Pretty bummed out. Looks like a really nice trail system. Maybe next year we will try it again.
