This trails is wonderful. It borders lake Coeur d’Alene and there are several access points to the water along the trail. You should know, however, that the trail has some difficulty. The more remote water access (which are the best ones) requires some level of fitness for both the handler and dog. Wear the appropriate shoes and keep an eye your dog to prevent them from slipping and falling.
