Quick stop

We liked the idea of the astroturf…it wasn’t smelly or muddy. But, there were no bags (luckily we carry our own) and people had left many little piles. Maybe it needs to be hosed off throughout the day and the bags and trash can checked. It is a very nice little area…separate sides for large and small dogs

Great hike!

Charlie had a wonderful time hiking here! He was afraid of the metal grated steps at first, but overcame very quickly. I think smaller dogs would find it very challenging on the steps…maybe bring a dog backpack for smaller dogs! Lots of grassy areas by the parking areas/restrooms for doing doggy business!

The overlook area was very accessible to all dogs and beautiful! The Waterfall trail was amazing!

Lots of open running space

Nice shaded gazebo for the humans. We were traveling so we just wanted an off leash area for our dog to get his zoomies out. It was a great place for that! Please note that the water spigot is right outside the dog park entrance gate. They had a large steel bucket close to the entrance available. You might want to bring a bowl and small container of water for the shaded area, as it is on the opposite end of the dog park.

The White Oak park it’s located in is very nice…it has a human restroom (very clean) and playground at the top of the hill.

Nice grassy area

There are separate sides for large and small dogs. Only 1 way in/out which is good! The only suggestion would be that owners pick up after their own dogs! There are bags and a trash can available in the fenced area. There is also a huge grassy area outside the fence to walk around on a leash! We would definitely stop here again!
