Pros: dogs must be on a leash which is good for little dogs who are often taken for “toys” by larger dogs. There are garbage bins at the entrance. Lots of space and not too crowded.
Cons: the sand is “wet” you need a chair. There was a lot of algae.

There was space for everyone and people were respectful. The only downside I found was the lack of garbage bins. This led to people leaving poop bags behind. Sad…
