Pleasantly surprised by very updated rooms, beautiful rustic hotel, great restaurant and the lake is gorgeous. Direct access to a beautiful hike through the Olympic National Forest-Quinault Rain Forest right across from the hotel with a separate peaceful lakeside trail as well. We visited in shoulder season, imagine more crowded in summer. Dogs are only allowed in the "boathouse" rooms, so booking any room at the hotel is misleading. No tvs in room and weak internet/cell connection throughout. Poo bags placed throughout outdoor areas on property.
