The staff are so friendly and helpful. I was offered upgrade room and it was amazing. I literally listened to the wave crashing outside my window. Watched dolphins jumping and a whale. The provided binoculars were a nice surprise. The grounds are large and plenty of room for Dori to run around and sniff for critters. They started the outside fire pits early and was nice to relax after a long day. I ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the Christmas Market in Cambria and the elephant seals in San Simeon. There was a newborn elephant seal the day I went. I highly recommend this hotel/resort and surrounding adventures! A nice bonus was there was no pet fees!
