We take Jake here frequently, it’s quick ride from home with plenty of parking, usually. Nice walk out and back the main road is a little short of a mile, occasional wildlife mostly squirrels and geese. River view and access.

They have a nice outdoor patio and in season a lot of college kids that like to pet the pups. They will give a water cup and pup cup for doggie. This is a nice stop after a walk on the river walk.

Clean comfortable room, but they didn’t know I was bringing a pet, but all rooms are pet friendly so it was not an issue. Staff was kind of not pleasant, the breakfast was blah, and the cleaning staff did almost all the could to block hallways. Single elevator with bad logic and the guests didn’t seem to understand how elevators work, they would push up and down buttons to make sure it stopped for them regardless of which direction it was going. This made for some long trips in the elevator even though it was only 4 floors. Overall good stay, but not sure if we will stay at this location again. Jake did enjoy the two beds when he went into zoomie mode leaping between both of them and of course he had the required argument with the dog in the mirror.

We had a certain expectation for this stay and we were not disappointed. Our room was clean. There was the constant grit of sand on the floor that one should expect for a beachfront hotel. Water was hot for showers. The reviews I have seen are negative and if you expect Hilton this isn’t your place but if you have stayed in the old times beach hotels and know what to expect you will be just fine. The tv has two remotes one for the tv and one for the cable box so don’t whoops that like I did.
Now the important parts for Fidos. No issue at all checking in with Jake (100lb Labradane). We also were a late check-in at 1am. There is convenient access to the beach on the side of the hotel. A nice grassy area behind, just be respectful of the no pee/poop signs of the ice cream shop. If you have a big boy the back deck gives them the opportunity to stand up and watch the beachfront.

We went to Brickyard last night for our. Night out, very easy to get a table outside for us and Jake. Just as we saw Jake was looking for a drink the server showed up with a bowl of water for him and as stated in another review a refill. Food and service were both great. The location also sets you up for a nice little walk around town if you want.

We went here with Jake and were immediately seated the hostess offered us to seat at the far end of the seating area as there was another doggo at the other end. Service was phenomenal food was fantastic and drinks were very well mixed.
