Staff is so friendly and helpful. They took the time to talk about my dogs specific dietary needs when I was looking for a new dog food. Lots of great choices! They’ve got everything you could need for your pets.

We've taken our dog to training here several times. She did puppy, intermediate and advanced classes with Chris. Chris is super patient and always willing to offer a solution to whatever problems you may be experiencing with training.

We stopped in for dinner and I was sure we would have to sit outside with our dog, however the hostess said we were fine to sit inside! So that was a nice surprise. Service was very friendly and food was great. Definitely recommend!

We had dinner here one night during our stay in Tahoe. Our dog was allowed to sit with us outside at the picnic tables. Ordering is inside so thankfully my boyfriend could go inside to order while I was outside with the dog, but I’m not sure how this would work if you were alone.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating available for dogs. We were seated inside, but the fire pits outside would have been fine too. The hostess brought our girl a bowl of water right after we were seated. Food was good but pricey for what it is.

During our recent trip to Tahoe, we wanted to try to find some “puppy free” time to spend with our daughter at the pool. We’ve slacked on kennel training and knew if we left our girl kenneled in the hotel that no one would have an enjoyable experience. TBF is a great solution!! They allowed our shy girl to come by for an hour long evaluation to see how she would get along with the other dogs. Lucy can be shy so we were a little worried, but staff was friendly and assured us she did great! We will definitely look into this option again when we’re back in Tahoe!

We stopped in during our recent trip to Tahoe. The shop is full of toys and treats for dogs (and cats!). We were specifically looking for something to help our girl with her nervous tummy from traveling. They had “to go” probiotic packs which were perfect! They also had CBD calming drops. Great selection and friendly, helpful staff.

We recently spent a week at the Americana. Overall it was a great experience. Staff was always friendly. There is a “secret garden” in the back for dogs to do their business. Breakfast every morning in the activity center. There are also daily events during the week (s’mores, tie-dyeing shirts, etc.). The lobby has movies you can borrow and a popcorn machine (my daughter enjoyed that). The only issue we ran into was we weren’t able to enjoy the pool with our young daughter as a family because, even though it’s a pet friendly place, dogs aren’t allowed at the pool. We only saw signs stating no smoking & no glass, so we were unaware. (Honestly, no one had an issue with our dog being at a table by the pool except for one guest who complained.) We would stay here again, and just hope that grouchy old man wasn’t there! 😂
