This is one of the only beaches I know of where my kids can thoroughly enjoy AND my dog can enjoy (before 9:30 and after 5:30) during the prime summer months. Dogs are technically supposed to be leashed. Many weren’t, nearly all were well behaved, and every single one was in absolute bliss. I watched a beautiful brown retriever ride a wave into shore.
Definitely bring your dog here. Also, this is the perfect spot for beach and dog therapy at the same time. Go early with your chair and coffee. Enjoy the waves, sun, breeze, and frolicking pups!
