Great seafood and pleasant for dogs
Seafood Sam'sThis place has a casual, clam-shack, capey vibe. Portions are generous and fish is fresh. There are also options for kids and vegetarians. Dogs are welcome on the outside covered patio or at the picnic tables on the lawn.

Urban and Centrally Located
Les Suites Hotel OttawaThis place was friendly overall and welcoming of our dog, a standard poodle. They gave us a room on the 8th floor which meant taking the elevator down each time she needed to go out. I was concerned about that at first, but it really turned out not to be a problem, as the elevators were only busy at check-in time. Because the location is so urban, there is only a small patch of grass in front to use for dogs to relieve themselves and they prefer guests not to use it. There was, however, no sign saying it was not permitted and the hotel clerk basically said that as long as we cleaned up after her it was OK. There is a neighborhood a couple of blocks down with grassy lawns that could also be used, but we didn't feel the need to go that far --she used the grass in front without incident. Our two bedroom suite was spacious and clean and had bare faux wood floors throughout. Although there were a few difficulties as mentioned above, I would still recommend this place due to the central location and pleasant staff.

Pleasant Patio Dining
The King EddyWe enjoyed our supper out on the patio in August with our standard poodle Trixie. They had a bowl of water waiting and everyone there offered her pats and compliments. The atmosphere is casual and the food freshly made diner fare. We enjoyed beer and sangria with our meal. Recommend!

Very Pleasant On The Patio!
The Spot Bistro & PatioThis place serves casual fare and allows dogs out on the patio. I called ahead and they set afire a table for us. Service was efficient and they brought our dog a bowl of water. Recommend!

Great Food, Great Service!
the local grocerWe always eat at the Local Grocer whenever we visit the area! Our dog, Trixie, enjoys a cold bowl of water and we enjoy excellent fresh food and service! The outdoor patio is pleasant and can be enjoyed as long as weather permits. Highly recommend!
