The welcome staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and had everything we needed for the one-night stay. The price was very reasonable and it included all the water and coffee you liked and a breakfast that was simple, yet had variety. The location of the hotel was great! It was right off the highway and located near several restaurants. We will definitely stay again when traveling.

When I checked into the room, the desk clerk said, “So I don’t go into the rooms, so I don’t know how bad it smells or if it’s clean. But I can’t give you a refund because you booked through another site. You’d have to call them.” I was SHOCKED! I hadn’t even gotten my keys from him yet. We went to the room to check it out. The bedding looked clean, but had several cigarette holes in the comforter. The room was advertised as “non-smoking” but it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. (Perhaps from the bedding that was obviously used by people who smoked in bed).
If I didn’t have my dog, we would have left and looked for another place (even after driving 11 hours), but we were limited on where we could go and didn’t want to sleep in the car. On a positive note, we checked for bedbugs and looked over the mattress and it was clean. The room was run down, but it was clean. I would have slept in the car if it wasn’t. It was also very quiet and the AC worked great. One thing that was annoying…there was one of those one-cup coffee makers, but no coffee was provided. Luckily a Dunkin Donuts is right down the street. The room served its purpose for two exhausted humans and their beloved dog, but I assure you, I won’t be staying again.
