I had the hardest time finding a hotel that would allow more than 2 dogs in Albuquerque. The motel was not the best place but it worked and was cheap. They have a couple small grass areas and bags to clean up after your pet. The animal friendly rooms have hard floors. The room could have been cleaner but was tolerable for one night.

I hated that our room was right outside the ice machine. That meant people and noise until 12:30 at night. My one dog would instantly fly off the bed barking with someone outside the door. Not the best placement for a room with dogs. It would not be a choice had we not had our dogs with us, but it is a viable option if you have more than 2 dogs and limited options. It was in an ok part of town, but after dark it did get a little more sketchy. I think that’s unfortunately expected at a 2 star cheaper rate motel though.
