I took my pup, Rainbow Skye aka Bo, on the Safari Jeep Rim Run Tour in Sedona to celebrate her 3rd human birthday / 21st dog birthday — and it was amazing!

Bo is a 12 lb Yorkie and absolutely loves car rides, so this was truly the ultimate birthday experience for her. She rode through the beautiful red rocks with the wind in her fur, hiked the gorgeous trails, and was even serenaded with an Indian flute — which she adored (especially since she loves whistles!).

Before booking, they let us know that most dogs prefer the pavement tours over the Rim Run, but since Bo loves adventure, I decided to go for it. I did bring along a dog CBD treat just in case she got anxious, but she had no issues at all — she was living her best life!

What made the experience even more special was the tour guide. From the moment we checked in, he fully embraced our “extreme pup birthday” plans and treated Bo like a VIP. He gave her tons of attention, made sure she was comfortable, and honestly made us both feel like royalty.

I can’t recommend this experience enough — whether it’s for a special occasion or just an unforgettable outing, this tour delivers. Bo and I will definitely be back for another adventure!
