Nice place to bring your dogs

I stopped here for the first time ever while on vacation. It was quiet even though the weather was great for early May. Once I was given a table, and I grabbed my dogs and brought them over (you have to go inside to get seated). There were 7 tables for 4, and 1 table for 8, all with umbrellas. The server brought out a bowl of water not long after I was seated. They didn't rush us to get out even though it was close to closing (there was another table with dogs outside as well). Beer was good (blueberry shandy) and the food was good (patty melt with fries).

This is part of the Patton Homestead, which I walked

The Patton Homestead (as in Gen George Patton) is across the street, but these places are connected. There is free parking at the Vineyard Hill, and to the left of the Patton Homestead. I was there in Early May in the afternoon on a nice day. If you walk behind the house, you will see some QR codes that open a website that has the history both in print and audio. Go around that little pond, and go left to the much larger Teal Pond. Walk past the canoe launch, and there is a nice platform that goes into the water a little bit.
I did not go into the house, but took the dogs to the viewing platform. In the parking lot is a shed with trash cans to throw out the dog poop bags. there is also a porta-potty there.
