I set out to find the Sinclair Wash Trail but couldn’t locate it—turns out it might be the Soldiers Trail in the nearby forest preserve. I ended up exploring Soldiers Trail instead. There are two different path options, both offering a decent walk through quiet pine woods. It wasn’t the most exciting trail. It ends up going to a dirt road behind houses that I imagine they are using Four access to their backyards.
The unexpected highlight? It’s near the amphitheater, and there happened to be a live concert happening as I walked. So while the trail itself was just okay, the background music from the show made for a really special and relaxing evening. I’ll share some photos soon!

This photo was taken in Flagstaff, AZ. Took a scenic stroll through Buffalo Park in Flagstaff today. The wide-open views were stunning, and the fresh mountain air is always a bonus. Along the trail, there are outdoor exercise stations—perfect place for you and dogs.. The best part? A peaceful encounter with deer grazing nearby. Nature, fitness, and wildlife all in one stop!
I would highly recommend this hike I would give it to five in every category
