The park is immediately next to the cities compost and brush burning site. My dog and I went and they were burning huge piles. The smoke made it impossible to stay more than one minute

This park seems small but there are two trails out the back that go to the river. The river walk is 75% fenced in, if you stay on the trails that go to the river, you never get close to the unfenced portion. If you have a runner, maybe keep your Pooch on a leash your first time back, but mostly it’s magical!
