Stopped here on July 5, 2025 on a road trip, and there were keypads on the gates and signs up to register your dog because starting July 1, they were locking the gates. The gate we first walked up to was left open, so we were able to play a bit, but saw someone have to punch in a code at the other gate. It’s a decent size space and seems well maintained, so it’s sad they’re locking it down to local residents…

We were looking for a spot to eat on July 4th, and this had good reviews, so thought we’d try it. Beautiful location right on the water, ample parking (both a parking lot and on the street), and wasn’t crazy busy (which helps with young, big dog). The staff were super friendly with the dog and brought water. Great food - had the whipped goat cheese app and barbacoa bowl, loved them both. They seem to rotate the menu somewhat frequently to keep it fresh. And turns out it’s a sister restaurant to the v popular Wickford on the Water, which was slammed on the holiday. Felt like we found a hidden gem!
