We have been bringing our dog here for 2.5 years at least 3 times a week so we know the place well. It’s the best park where most of the dog owners are very responsible and respectful, minus the seldom outliers who may be visiting tourists or someone who just got their dog and doesn’t know it well yet. There are specific times that are busier. At noon there is a lunch crew, where more puppies will be present. At 5, this is a busier time with a lot of returning dogs. If you are trying it for the first time, go in between when it is quieter. There is a smaller dog park to the left of the main bigger one, for smaller or shyer dogs. If we aren’t sure of the vibes in the big park yet we often start in the smaller, watch, and do a slow intro. There is a water spigot in the main park and bowls for the dogs and in the summer folks donate kiddie pools. Please do not bring your dog here if they are reactive and resource guard other dogs, balls, or special toys! Also, if your dog is aggressive, that is pretty obvious! Otherwise this is a special fun place with lots of friendly dog owners.

We are spending two nights at this wonderful inn that I found via AAA and BringFido. After a previous stay at a place that was dog friendly but a dump, this is a breath of fresh air! It is in a quiet location, extremely clean, and they even gave our dog a “doggie bag” filled with treats and a dog bowl. It is reasonably priced for the area. We are seeing many happy dogs here and our reactive pup is appreciating the mellow vibes. It is an inn so you have your own entrance and do not need to go through a hotel lobby or anything like that. This has been helpful for our girl who is nervous around strangers. It’s very quiet and tomorrow we will try the pool and complimentary brunch. The beds are super nice and we are sensitive to mold and having no issue with that.

I rolled the dice and booked this place because it was the right price and was dog friendly. It was excellent in terms of being dog friendly but it was more a place for dogs than humans. The room was absolutely gross. Like musty, damp, the AC barely worked, smelled like weed. My partner and I had to not even talk about it because we just had to sleep. It “got the job done” but we will absolutely never go back. Sorry to be so harsh. We are kind people but dust hanging from the ceiling and sticky floors bums me out because the front desk was so nice and it was a great spot for our dog. But yikes!
A very dog friendly beach during the summer. We saw laws after 5pm and plan to go in the morning before 9. Our dog is reactive and folks mostly keep to themselves. Some dogs were off leash but we kept ours on. Really nice spacious local vibe with a beautiful sunset to match it! We paid for the street permit parking that works for two days if purchased after 5pm. $30.

This is a dog friendly place and they even have a boat bar you can bring your dog. A very popular local spot that is bumping at night. Everyone was super nice and friendly and the food was 10/10!!! Our pup is reactive so we just did take out but dogs were at designated tables and they even said dogs were welcome on the big bar boat.
