We come here 3 or 4 times a month with our big labradoodle. While we walk along this beautiful beach our dog has so much fun running freely, chasing the waves, sniffing the seaweed and saying hello to other dogs. I would say 99% of the dogs here are very friendly. There are occasional mean ones but their owners keep them on a leash as they should. The beach is about a mile long and mostly enclosed with the ocean on one side and a cliff on the other. You can see the Pebble Beach golf course at the far end. When the tide is low you can find tide pools at either end among the rocks with hermit crabs, starfish, sea anemones. All along the beach are different seabirds, seaweed and sometimes you see the beautiful blue Velella velella washed up on shore. The weekends are very busy and the earlier you arrive the better chance of finding a quick parking spot. Come on a weekday and there is never a problem. Parking is free as well. This place is amazing
