We rode the train with our three pups last week (late August). It was beautiful! However, at the station, it was 64 and partly cloudy. While on the train, cold rain came through so come prepared for almost any weather!

Going to the amphitheater in the morning is a different, but fun "hike". Our pup who loves heights absolutely loved it! Make sure to go earlier in the day because in the evening it is likely closed with a concert.
It is a small site. I expected larger. However, it was still a fun experience. If you are looking for something unique to do in Colorado Springs, it is worth a stop. We were driving through Colorado Springs so enjoyed the leg stretch.

We drove with our three pups (windows up) in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge. Per the FWS website, dogs can go on the auto tour of the site. It was a fun experience, seeing bison, coyotes, mule deer and lots of ground hogs!

We spent three nights here last week with our three dogs - one 11 lb, one 40 lbs, and one 75 lbs. It was easy to potty the pups by a beautiful stream. It was quiet, and the cabins were very well maintained. The pet policy/fee was super reasonable too! Will definitely be back.
