We actually enjoyed this spot 3 times in our 5 day stay! It was amazing food with great portions. Staff was exceptional with human and Dog service. Provided a water bowl for our dog and tons of lovin’s! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Spearfish!

Orchard Creek Cottages… wow! This cabin exceeded our expectations 100%. The location in Spearfish was perfect—central enough for us to enjoy the Black Hills, Custer State Park, and all the beautiful nature nearby. Everything we wanted to see was less than an hour away, which worked out perfectly.

The cabin itself was spotless, fresh, and very comfortable. I really appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with proper cooking vessels and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals instead of eating out every day. The bathroom was also a standout—plenty of counter space, a full-size shower, and room to actually get ready comfortably.

The property felt very safe, with good lighting, plenty of parking, and quiet surroundings. The cabins are spaced out well—we never heard another guest during our stay. Our dog loved the walking areas nearby, and the fact that it’s dog-friendly was a huge bonus. The hot tub was another highlight—clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to end a day of exploring.

I would 100% recommend Orchard Creek Cottages to anyone looking for a dog-friendly one-bedroom cabin in the Spearfish area. We will absolutely stay here again!

Wow, this place was beyond what I was expecting! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room felt very clean. Being a dog friendly place was a huge plus! Would definitely recommend staying here.
