Dixon & Delilah

The server made our visit a wonderful experience. The drinks were delicious and the bacon jam on the burgers was delicious. They were extremely friendly to our pups and provided a bowl of iced water before we could get a chance to ask.

This family-run business is one of the most dog friendly establishments we've ever stayed at. Our pups enjoyed a romp on the massive lawn every morning before our delicious, complimentary breakfast featuring pancakes, French toast, eggs and hash browns with Vermont maple syrup! The hosts also provided complimentary smores for fire pit night. Our room was pre-cooled for our 4th of July weekend visit and the beds were very cozy. The inn attracts really nice guests and everyone was very friendly with our pups. There's indoor dining but mostly everyone preferred the outdoor seating for the view of the green mountains. It was a great stay with great chats, amazing views and we all left relaxed. We will definitely return for the fall.

Our pups always get excited when we are a block away and lead the way straight into this wonderful boutique. They head straight to "grandma", who always greets them with a cookie. Great shop with items that you can't find in chain stores. They also carry adorable, seasonal bandanas by an independent business.

We had visited post season, so most of the attractions were closed. We were able to stroll through the old village, visit the active farm and take some great photos. The pups had loads of fun sniffing out the village, especially the pig pen.

Crew was friendly with our pups and we did see dolphins. Wine and beer was available on the first level - it was very relaxing, but make sure your dog have their sea legs to avoid sea sickness

Had the most relaxing time at this brewery. Pups were able to relax indoors and snooze while we enjoyed the ambiance and brews

We had a great time, especially our pup, Dixon who had dressed up for the occasion. Everyone there is super friendly & welcoming. Great photo ops and you learn so much about the history of aviation. Would visit again!

Very accommodating with our pups and the food is amazing- especially the seasonal, pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon butter. Had breakfast there most days during our trip.

This place is super cute and they were very friendly with our pups. We had breakfast in a covered area, which was tasty and had really enjoyed shopping in the barn. The grounds were perfect for a stroll and pictures. There are roosters around but they seem to be used to dogs, so as long as your dog is fine- expect a laugh when they try to interact.

Dixon has been going to The Shed since he was 6 months old in Huntington but this location is now our new favorite. The seating provides so much space, shade and a cool breeze- it's now the only spot we go to on Long Island. The water bowls are super cute and the staff is so friendly. Dixon gets so very excited when we pull up to the restaurant and can't wait for his side order of eggs.

Very accommodating for pups with super cute water bowls. The Sayville location has a peaceful, shaded seating area with picnic tables. Our pups really enjoy their eggs at their favorite regular brunch spot and get excited when we pull up to the restaurant. This is our "go to" on Long Island every time!

Staff was accommodating and food was delicious
Many shops are dog friendly in Savannah, but these folks are really love dogs! Our pups were welcomed with affection and water- it was a great stop to cool down and shop.

Wanted a day tour to save our pups from the heat, so we had pre-booked days in advance by phone & confirmed for 12 noon on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend. We waited at the agreed location for nearly an hour and there was not a pedicab in sight. We called the number which went to a full mailbox, left an SMS, and a text- they never returned our call!! Spent two hours looking for an alternative and found Old Savannah Tours which was amazing and wonderful to our mini dachshunds. After our ghost tour later in the evening we had finally seen one of their pedicabs- I guess they only operate at night, which is their prerogative but they should not booked us for a noon tour and ignored our calls. Avoid this company as they don't care about pups and heat exposure. It also threw off our 2 day itinerary, which also resulted in missing out on dinner at the restaurants were had found on this site.

Very disappointed as there was a lot of sharp, broken remnants of beer bottles, cigarette butts and dog poop left by owners. The water is brown and feel pretty gross on my legs. Also felt sick since I’ve been there and being seen my the doctor the stomach troubles and headaches- yes I am concerned about the water being unclean. We were there for over an hour (under a beach umbrella) because of the cool breeze and the opportunity for our puppy to interact with other friendly dogs.
It’s a real shame because our dogs deserve better. When I am better, I will be making a complaint to the local politicians/community board, as well as New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. I think we should all make those calls.

We've been coming to New Paltz for years and are so happy that one of the most pet friendliest spots is in our top towns. The staff is super friendly and very affectionate to our puppy Dixon- he feels so at home that he eventually falls asleep.
The food is scrumptious and the drinks are delicious.

The sliders are delicious and they provided a cool quiet space for our puppy, Dixon to relax.

The food is awesome and the views are very picturesque. The staff was very attentive to our puppy, Dixon and offered him water as well. The sounds of the passing trains surprised our pup at first but he quickly got used to it and by the near end of the meal Dixon would look forward to the trains-so memorable

The food is inventive and the staff was very accommodating to our puppy's needs

The staff is so affectionate to our Dixon and the delivers great service to puppy parents. The pies are delicious and the meatballs are just like Nonna’s. We visit at least once during the weekday.
