This is a great spot to stop with your pooch for a beautiful, short forest walk around the south end of the lake, a pup swim in the lake, or a picnic lunch on the grass nearby. Along the walking path, there’s an almost overgrown path to the right that leads out to a small sandy beach, offering the perfect swimming spot for easing into the water, and lovely views of the lake. Watch for Bald Eagles around the tree-line along the edges of the lake!
