Dog lovers 2 Australian Shepherds

My wife noticed the bedding being disarray when arriving. She ended up with a severe case of poison ivy/oak. Change bedding even if it looks like it hasn’t been used. She was severely ill with this. Trip was 4/17.

Large grassy pet area but room was so so. Bed not so good.

Checking in, the lady behind the counter was very nice. It all changed when we arrived at our room. There was a dirty mop left in the bathroom. There was trash in the bathroom corner. My wife was going to put her soda in the fridge and there was someone’s food still inside. Dog area is large. Will not stay here again.

Upon arrival we thought the lobby was nice. That’s where it went downhill. There were outdoor trash cans that were running over with trash. The room was dirty but good sized but, it was right up against a highway. Loud at night and difficult to sleep. The pup area was clean and adequate but the poo can had not been emptied in a long time. I will not return.

Stayed at Larkspur Landing for 5 nights. Staff were great and friendly. Property was clean with no surprises. Room was a suite complete with a dishwasher, dishes, silverware and more. Convenient to stores and food. Grass for pups and supplied poo bags. I will stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights in Gardiner by Yellowstone. Hotel was satisfactory. Sat on the wall and watched the elk eating across the street. Pup area is behind the hotel. It was grass and clean. 4 bones because the pup area was dark in mornings and evenings. With bear and elk roaming the area there should be a light in the pup area. Luckily we had a small flashlight with us.
