You know how sometimes when you are traveling with your dog, you are pleasantly surprised when it is easy and nice? Such is the case with Aloft Milwaukee. Super dog-friendly hotel! No extra fee for a dog. Front desk staff were very welcoming! Fun, comfortable hotel right downtown with lots of friendly dogs, kids, and families. Large rooms, plenty of space for dog kennel. Large lobby area to easily hang out with our pup, multiple seating areas, good cool AC, board games, outdoor courtyard with seating, next to Milwaukee Riverwalk. Convenient shady, grassy area next to hotel to let the dog go potty. Walking distance to Milwaukee Brat House which has pet-friendly outdoor seating. Also a short drive to Eagle Park Brewery - VERY dog friendly large patio. And if you are visiting Milwaukee with your pup, don’t miss Salty Paws!! Best dog ice cream shop EVER!

Even tho this was a very busy Sunday morning before a lakefront festival, we easily found a parking spot in the parking lot behind the restaurant and there were lots of available tables on the shady patio. Found one near a wall where my pup could feel safe. Dogs not allowed indoors so my son ordered for me inside. Great food options including vegetarian. Food is fresh and delicious. Good coffee drinks, too. Worked well for my pup.

Glad to find a restaurant that allows dogs within walking distance of our hotel. Definitely dog friendly, however, gave 4 stars because patio was very crowded and noisy and our usually very calm dog was pretty stressed here. We were seated at the only available table which was right by the sidewalk on a very busy Friday night. Not the restaurant’s fault. But just be aware. (Other nearby restaurants did not allow dogs) Bonus: Milwaukee Brat House has Beyond brats, my favorite vegetarian brats, which I ordered smothered with sautéed onions, mushrooms and cheddar. Yum!

Large outdoor deck and patio for dogs and their people. Very large selection of beer, wine, cider and seltzers for the humans. Food was good - good variety on the menu. Server brought dog water bowl and treats and greeted Rosie. She had a great time! Bonus: they have a large parking lot!!

This is actually an ice cream shop just for dogs. Dogs get to choose from 8 dog-friendly ice cream flavors and multiple freeze dried meat treat toppings. You can get it served in a metal dog bowl or lick activity bowl or to-go container. Know a dog with a birthday coming up? Large selection of frozen and baked birthday treats of all flavors and sizes. Store also sells a wide assortment of premium dog treats, collars and toys and they have a Bone Bar - open containers with a variety of bully sticks, no hide chews and bones. Every table has a comfy dog bed for your pup. They also offer grooming. Highly recommend this place!
