Wonderful!
JAX 5th Ave Deli & Ale HouseThis is our first time here and were lucky for a beautiful Florida day to sit out under their deep porch. We had the Jax’s burger with onion rings and must say that those were the best in a very long time. The burger was great and is served with a side of yummy special sauce. The pork shanks are a must try. We will be back before we leave for home! Thanks for Amy for great service. Boudreaux gives 5 thumbs up.
Perfect
Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake MaryWe are Hilton Honors member so often stay in one while traveling. This hotel is right off I-4. Our suite with kitchenette was #301, super easy access to the elevator, and really private since it was on the corner by itself. There are plenty of nice tree-lined side walks all around the area. A PetSmart is next door. The room was clean, very roomy, bed comfortable and the windows open for fresh air. There are several restaurants nearby that are pet friendly that have good food.
Excellent
Ed's Burger JointStopped here while traveling. Excellent food!! Clean place. Wonderful burger, sweet potato fries and offered with gluten free options! Friendly people. They have large covered patio where dogs are allowed. They offered water and a free pup treat. I will be stopping by again on the travels! Easy off I-59
My go-to with or without a dog!
Jim 'N Nick's BBQI live in the Boro so this is a favorite place of mine. They have a covered patio that I have used year round. I like that it is L-shaped, so you can sit away from people if needed. The staff is always inviting. The food is always good. Plus if you happen to be gluten sensitive or celiac, they have a lot of options!
All around nice place for us and the dog
La Quinta by Wyndham Macon WestFriendly welcome. Nice large room with comfortable bed. Nice clean area to walk my girl. I travel a lot from Tennessee to Florida. Macon is a half-way stop. I will be staying here again.
Better Than 5 Golden Paws!!!
Eggs Up GrillWow. I can’t talk this place up enough! We went to Another Broken Egg this morning and they refused to seat us on the patio. We called this place and they said come on over! Absolutely the best thing that could have happened. They immediately opened an umbrella over a table on the patio and invited us in. The owner came out and talked to us, offered a drink for Sophie the dog. The food was excellent! My husband said his omelette was awesome and his grilled blueberry muffins was fantastic. I had gluten free pancakes that were probably the best gluten free pancakes I have ever had. I am so happy Broken Egg turned us away. Try this place!!
Nice Place!
Homewood Suites by Hilton GreenvilleWe spent a couple days here with Sophie. She was always welcomed and greeted with lots of petting and cookies. Large area for walking and sidewalks along the roadway for a longer walk. Many places close by to eat with patio seating for doggies. Right off I-85 but quiet.
Just Visiting
Shuckin' Shack Oyster BarIn Greenville visiting. Tons and tons of restaurants but husband picked this off Fido. For my dog, the place was nice. They brought water for her when coming to the table to greet us. The patio was in the shade in the later afternoon but does has large umbrellas. This is in a strip mall and the seating is on the sidewalk in front. Food was ok. They were out of wings, I guess due to July 4th. Wish they would have told us when we called about the dog coming with us. They would not substitute anything for the half shrimp, half wings platter. So ended up not enjoying my meal due to being a little irritated. Ten shrimp and a salad. (15 bucks) Everything I asked about was an “upcharge”. He did bring us a cup of gumbo on the house, which was ok and nice of him. My husband had a halfnhalf po-boy sammie and he enjoyed it. Service was sloooow for the amount of people there but they were nice/friendly. All in all, there are so many places to eat around greenville that allows dogs. I wouldn’t go back when in town. To be fair to them, I am hoping it was just an off day because of the holiday.
Sophie Loved It And Felt Welcomed
Another Broken Egg CafeWe took our golden and sat out on the covered porch area. They brought out a bowl of water for her without having to ask. Great food, dog welcomed and they have a gluten free menu for me! Win-win!
