We stopped by for lunch on our way through Spearfish Canyon. Besides the beautiful scenery along the way, the restaurant and grounds were quiet. We sat outside on the patio where our dog was also offered a beef patty or chicken breast, served a doggie bowl. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The dog was better behaved than the kids!

We chose this hotel to stay to and from our destination. Both nights we arrived late but were greeted by friendly staff. It was our first time staying in a hotel with a dog, so we had no idea what to expect and were pretty nervous. We received a treat and poop bags upon arrival. There was plenty of green grass for potty breaks, poop bags and waste stations available outside. Out dog lots of love and belly rubs from other guests and the friendly staff!! The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the pool. Breakfast was typical for the free continental breakfast and we have zero complaints about it! Coffee was good too!

There were a lot of dogs at Wall Drug and responsible pet owners. Our dog loved the free ice water and watching kids play in the backyard. She also enjoyed part of a hot dog. She was not allowed in the cafe or restaurant, but there was plenty of open seating and tables in the outside courtyard “backyard”. We took turns getting food and bringing food outside to sit with the dog. Other people were friendly towards her too!
