This was one of a number of thrift stores we popped into that welcomed our dog, but even better my purchase went to help animals in need of adoption. I bought a game my husband and I enjoyed playing later that night. (We stayed at Andril fireplace cottages.) The game was marked $15 but had a blue sticker, which made it only $3.75 (75% off). It was so cheap I asked the clerk if I could just give her $10 instead, so that was what I ended up paying/donating. Totally worth it. The game was fun, and my money went to a great cause.

After walking the Ansilomar Coast Trail on Day One, we hiked here on Day Two. It was amazing to be walking through a lush forest so close to the beach. This was in January after a week of heavy rain, so the narrow trail we were on was very wet and muddy in parts but this did not hamper our experience. We enjoyed having the trail pretty much to ourselves. The only other people we encountered were other dog walkers near the trailheads. The loop trail we did was flat and manageable with our 10yo chiweenie, although I did need to lift him over some tall rocks and fallen trees a couple times.
