I own Largo's original kava bar, established in 2014: Dharma Coffee & Kava Bar! I may not remember your name the first few visits, but I promise I'll remember your pup's! <3 I can be deep in work and my head'll pop right up from my laptop when I hear a collar and leash jingling towards me! Bring me more Dharma pups (on leashes, please)! :)
I am a huuuge pet lover in general, but dogs definitely have my heart! My fiance and I have a dog I adopted in 2013, Cowboy. He's my best friend and my shadow. He's a staffie-black lab-mutt and he's got a personality and stank face that'd have you thinking he's people!

Bring us more pups to add to the Dharma Dog fur family!
Dharma first opened 11/3/2014 and has been dog-friendly from then on! During the first 2 years, my pup Cowboy was our official door greeter and a fantastic host. He'd wait excitedly (but regally) at the end of the entrance runway mat and walk you to an open bar stool, couch, or booth (expecting a couple pets for a tip)!
We do require all dogs be on leashes, not super dirty/stinky, and on monthly flea prevention. Otherwise, expect the owner and most of the staff to remember you by your pup's name for the first few visits! haha!

All of our coffee is freshly ground and made-to-order. Locally roasted by our passionate roasting colleagues at Bonsai Beverage Co. in neighboring Clearwater!
All our kava, exotic teas, and cold brew coffee selections are small-batch brewed on a daily rotating basis, ensuring our customers enjoy only the freshest, most consistent, quality beverages and eliminating unnecessary waste!
Our kava and exotic teas have been meticulously and carefully selected for their quality and purity, with the raw products being dried/processed in cGMP-certified facilities here in Florida. We have strict QC procedures, requiring our partners provide regular lab reports with each new batch of ingredients we receive.
We do our absolute best to minimize our carbon footprint:
- Plant-based paper cups with bioplastic straws & lids, all biodegradable.
- Energy-efficency (LED & EStar equipment)
- Hand-dryers instead of paper towels in the bathrooms (don't worry, they're HEPA-filtered, so no fart-air)
- Small-batches and procedures to minimize and eliminate waste wherever possible, as well as save water.
- Custom 8-stage water filtration system that eliminates heavy metals, flouride, and chloromines (while remineralizing taste-improving and healthy minerals). Did you know that reverse-osmosis water systems dump at least 2 gallons of heavy gray water for every 1 gallon of purified water they produce and are illegal in some countries?
